The Italian blog Messa Italiano is reporting that conditions at the Vatican are approaching those in North Korea with regard to secrecy. According to the source, personnel have been arrested for leaking information to Vatican news websites:

The Vatican gendarmerie had long been investigating leaks, mainly concerning the Factory and St. Peter’s Basilica ( but also the Vicariate ) for the benefit – mainly – of a blog of Vatican gossip.

We had been confirmed that Msgr. Mauro N. and officials Antonio G. and Patrizio M. ( secretary of a high prelate of the Basilica ) had been stopped, and that their computers and cell phones ( to which the seals ) had been placed were then seized for investigation.

We also understand that one of these remained in custody for a few hours. 

All this is also the consequence of a particularly tense climate, since Card.Gambetti has replaced Card. Masters as Archpriest of the Vatican Basilica. 

MiL also dealt with the “commissioning” of the Chapter of the Vatican Canons (here MiL), of the prohibition of private Masses in the Basilica (including many Traditional ones, and obviously those of the Canons) with mandatory replacement of the concelebration (here MiL), and there are many complaints about the degradation of the state of cleanliness and order within the Basilica itself. 

We find, with great pain, that the climate from North Korea to the Vatican Curia is getting worse. 

Our sources tell us that, by now, every Vatican official has a double cell phone and that in the Sacred Palaces one is very attentive to the use of e-mails, of whatsapp, telegram and the content of private telephone conversations. We are also aware of a regular use of ” Bedbugs” for environmental interceptions. Many “private” conversations, to limit the risk of interception, are therefore made outside the offices and bars of Borgo Pio. 

The same type of checks and precautions also take place in Casa Santa Marta. Always our sources confirm that a high position of the Vicariate has in fact been demansioned for the confidences that his maid reported to Francesco (directly or through a third party) on comments deprived of the subject on the Holy Father.
