Beginning September 7th and ending on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, we will be praying a novena for the Church in this time of scandal and chaos. We’ll also be doing something every day along with the prayer to support the mission. Please join us and share this with your faithful friends.

Day 1: Fast
Day 2: Read the scripture passages before Mass
Day 3: Compliment three strangers
Day 4: Donate to your favorite charity
Day 5: Spend an hour in Adoration
Day 6: Volunteer or stock your car with healthy drinks to give homeless people
Day 7: Fast from negativity toward others and yourself
Day 8: Pray the Rosary
Day 9: Give up a superfluous habit

Every day pray this prayer with us:

Heavenly Father, we come to you with Our Lady of Sorrows, in humility and ask for your mercy and guidance so that we may be a light in this dark time for your Church. Pour down your grace on Your holy priests and religious, Your faithful laity, and especially Your most vulnerable servants who have been harmed by authorities within the Church.

Mary, you heard the prophetic voice of Simeon. You accepted the revelation of the sorrowful road of your Son. You experienced immense pain from his rejection by the people. Pray for us that we may have a greater hope in your Son’s plan and the strength to endure the suffering purgation of His people.

We pray this through Christ Our Lord in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
