“Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
That was Rahm Emanuel explaining the opportunistic nature of bureaucrats during emergencies like the 2008 financial crisis. The idea is that there are certain goals that power-hungry politicians want to enact on unwitting citizens and crises give them the chance to force policies on them without much resistance.
This has happened throughout history but most notably in the last 100 years. During the Great Depression, politicians capitalized on the public fear of economic collapse to overhaul the government into a socialistic state. In 2001, the state took advantage of the terror of terror to turn the country into a dystopian surveillance state. And, as Emanuel explained so shrewdly, the government used the 2008 financial crisis to further sink its teeth into the financial sector.
The principle works so well that it’s likely that some of the power-hungry politicians realized that they don’t have to wait for a crisis to put to good use. They can create one.
As the meme “How Government Works” goes:
- Government breaks your legs
- Government sells you a wheelchair
- Government taxes that wheelchair
- Government regulates the use of that wheelchair
- Government assures you that without them, you wouldn’t be able to get around so well
This is likely what we’ve experienced with the novel coronavirus and COVID-19.
Newsweek reported:
But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.
In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.
Then, in October 2019, The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, World Economic Forum, and Bill & Melinda Gates hosted Event 201, a “pandemic tabletop exercise that simulated a series of dramatic, scenario-based facilitated discussions, confronting difficult, true-to-life dilemmas associated with response to a hypothetical, but scientifically plausible, pandemic.”
They brought together experts from around the world to discuss what would happen if a deadly novel disease suddenly plagued the world.
The disease that they focused on during this hypothetical planning event? Coronavirus.
A Government-Generated Crisis
And when a novel coronavirus did strike just months later the power-hungry, opportunistic politicians wasted no time implementing their power grab amid fear tactics and bad science.
Based on the horribly inaccurate Imperial College London coronavirus model, which predicted 2.2 million dead in the US from the novel coronavirus, governments started locking down the economy.
They told us “14 days to flatten the curve”. That turned into one month, six weeks, and basically, you’ll never get to see grandma again.
And instead of listening to the dozens of medical professionals treating the disease successfully with common and inexpensive treatments like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and oxygen therapy, the powers that be pushed expensive, top-down medicine that ended up doing more harm than good.
At the outset of the pandemic, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo demanded 26,000 ventilators to stave off the death toll in his state, threatening, “You pick the 26,000 people who are going to die,” if he didn’t get them.
It turns out that the ventilator wasn’t that important to treatment of the disease, and might have made the outcomes worse. Typically 40-50 percent of ARDS patients that require ventilator treatment end up dying. For early COVID-19 patients, that number jumped to 80 percent. Cuomo also limited the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a cheap anti-malaria drug, which has been around for decades and showed promise in preventing and treating COVID-19. Several studies showed the promise of HCQ against COVID, but in early March, 2020, Cuomo signed Executive Order 202.10, which prohibited pharmacies from dispensing HCQ “except when written as prescribed for a FDA approved indication or as part of state approved clinical trial related to COVID-19 for a patient who has tested positive for COVID-19, with such test result documented as part of the prescription. No other experimental or prophylactic use shall be permitted and any permitted prescription is limited to one fourteen day prescription with no refills.” He later rescinded the order after the public outcry became too much to ignore.
Political Malpractice
What’s worse than bad medicine by politicians is what can be rightfully described as an intentional genocide. Several states including Cuomo’s New York, had policies to encourage putting patients who tested positive for COVID into nursing homes.
Now, we didn’t know much about the disease in the beginning of the pandemic, but one of the clearest signals from the data was that the elderly were particularly at risk for adverse events from it. And yet Cuomo, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, and California Governor Gavin Newsom all had policies that forced or incentivized nursing homes to take in COVID patients, many who weren’t even elderly themselves. These politicians didn’t want you to visit your grandmother at the hospital, but they were more than happy to let her room up with a COVID-positive patient.
While Cuomo was getting book deals and Emmys for his handling of the pandemic, he was quietly killing thousands of people. On March 25, 2020, the New York Department of Health issued an advisory stating, “No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19. NHs are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.” The advisory was later removed from the website but the damage had been done. At the time of this writing, over 15,000 nursing home residents had died in New York alone.
Michigan had similarly horrific numbers based on their nursing home policy, usually underreported by the government. But the nursing home damage wasn’t limited to COVID-scpecific deaths. One of the most heartbreaking videos I’ve ever seen involved the Michigan COVID nursing home policy. A 20-year-old man, Jaden Hayden, had tested positive for COVID, so naturally, he was placed in Detroit’s Westwood Nursing Center with the most vulnerable population you can think of. Soon after his admission, Hayden filmed himself beating up a 75-year-old Army veteran, Norman Bledsoe for no apparent reason. Bledsoe grew depressed after the assault and ended up starving himself to death.
Not only did the powers that be sign death warrants for thousands of people, they also likely knew that what they were doing was wrong. The Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), which had funneled $2 million to Cuomo’s political machine amid the pandemic, drafted a provision that shielded executives from liability for the murderous policies they enacted. When the blame game intensified a year after his nursing home order, Cuomo signed a bill repealing the protection.
When you add it all up, a rational and dispassionate person can’t help but entertain the idea that this is all part of a large conspiracy. Even if the globalist lizard people didn’t create COVID-19, they certainly exacerbated the crisis by maximizing the death toll via horrible medical policy. They had their good crisis and now they’re making sure it doesn’t go to waste. But to what end?
Conspiracy Fact
Just before the 2020 presidential election, the Catholic Archbishop and former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America, Carlo Maria Viganò, wrote to President Donald Trump about such an end:
A global plan called the Great Reset is underway. Its architect is a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations. In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others it is still in an early stage. Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.
The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt. The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups. Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world. Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.
Viganò’s apocalyptic warning could have been easily swept under the conspiracy theory rug a year earlier, but as the global elites march on with their plan to control the world through medical tyranny, it’s increasingly difficult to do so. And some members of that club have come out and admitted as much.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the silent part out loud in an address on Global News, explaining to the plebes that, “‘Building Back Better’ means getting support to the most vulnerable while maintaining our momentum on reaching the 2030 Agenda with sustainable development and the SGEs.” He said the COVID-19 “pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset.” Trudeau went on to explain that, “This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to reimagine economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality, and climate change.”
And while the major propaganda machines of mainstream media and Big Tech try to play of the conspiracy as fanciful theory, others brazenly admit it in public fora.
World Economic Forum Chair Klaus Schwab and Thiery Malleret published “COVID-19: The Great Reset” in July, 2020, laying out the plan for a new global community. It reads much like a 5-year plan from communists either too naive or conversely, hyper aware of history. “COVID-19 has created a great disruptive reset of our global social, economic, and political systems. But the power of human beings lies in being foresighted and having the ingenuity, at least to a certain extent, to take their destiny into their hands and to plan for a better future.”
Independent of the cause of COVID-19, Schwab and Malleret propose that it exposed the weaknesses of the nationalist capitalist system and the solution is to move toward unified, global governance with more social welfare and a stronger tie between the private and public sector. Anyone who lived in 1930s Germany or 1950s China will probably get shivers from this utopic plan.
Like any totalitarian, Schwab and Malleret want you to believe that independence and freedom were the problem during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the data show otherwise. Prognostications and recommendations from centralized bureaucracies like the World Health Organization were almost universally wrong.
First, the global medical establishment downplayed the threat of the virus, claiming, “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China.”
Note that there is no warning that the WHO was spreading false information on this tweet and it hasn’t been removed even at the time of this writing.
Eventually it came out that Chinese doctors were told to lie about the disease. “We knew the virus transmitted from human to human, but when we attended a hospital meeting we were told not to speak out. Provincial government leaders told the hospitals not to tell the truth.”
Then, after the disease was spreading, the global medical establishment delayed in declaring it a pandemic. “(WHO) has been trying to be politically correct by underestimating the extent of the threat. They lost some credibility when they stated in late January that the global risk assessment was moderate,” Dr. Attila Hertelendy, a Florida-based expert in biomedicine, said.
US President Donald Trump was roundly criticized for implementing xenophobic travel restrictions from China to prevent the spread of the disease.
Then, just weeks later, once the disease was clearly seen as a major problem, the global medical establishment flipped to exaggerating the problem, warning of millions of deaths in the United States if totalitarian mitigation efforts were not implemented, predictions based on secretive algorithms by politically motivated pseudo-scientists like Neil Ferguson.
Top-Down Genocide
Worse than the political component of establishment medicine was the medical component.
Top-down “protocolized” medicine has no doubt saved millions of lives treating patients with conditions that have anticipated clinical courses. But in the case of novel diseases like COVID-19, those protocols can be disastrous.
From the beginning of the pandemic, the protocol for treating COVID-19 was dangerous for patients. Instead of treating the patient with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines to get the patient oxygen, medical practitioners were being told to, “let the patient crash and go straight to a ventilator,” as a whistleblower described in a viral video seen here:

A recent study from Northwell Health COVID-19 Research Consortium showed that upwards of 88 percent of COVID patients who were intubated and put on a ventilator died (compared to just 21 percent of patients who were not put on a ventilator).
The medical establishment said not to wear masks, then made masks mandatory, then recommended double- and triple-masking to prevent the spread of the disease. Data indicate that similar populations with mask mandates do not have better outcomes than those without mask mandates.
Combine the disastrously erroneous early medical protocol for COVID-19 with the deadly political regulations and you have a recipe for a horrible pandemic. But it wasn’t the fault of capitalism or nationalism. The very solution that Klaus Schwab and Thiery Malleret propose in the Great Reset is what exacerbated the problem in the first place. The premise for the Great Reset is exactly backwards.
It is the individual frontline doctors like New York City Dr. Cameron Kyle-Sidell working with actual patients and considering alternatives to the medical protocols that shifted the paradigm of treating COVID to something effective. It is advocates like Dr. Pierre Kory who discovered a miracle drug in a decades-old anti-parasite medication (ivermectin) that just so happen to be very effective against COVID-19. It is the federalist system of government that allowed different US states to operate differently and reveal that lockdowns and mask mandates were ineffective. In essence, the exact opposite of what Schwab and Malleret recommend is what will save us: individualism, decentralization, and bottom-up science.
But the powers that be will not entertain that probability because they stand to lose all the power they’ve gained off the fear of the disease. They have done their best to not let this crisis go to waste. We must do everything in our power to make sure that it does.
